a group of friends went to the duke yesterday evening to the birthday meal. none of us had eaten there before, but we were all very impressed by the menu and when our food arrived, we could not believe the portion sizes. all our appetizers and main dishes were delicious and it is safe to say that we were all very full of the end! the atmosphere was nice together with the workers and waitresses. we'll be back soon! So disappointed with the Sunday lunch. We have enjoyed fabulous roasts here in the past and it had been several months since we last visited. However this time, the beef didnt look like beef, it was hard, the potatoes were black/burnt the vegetables were boring/non descript and the gravy was like water.
