A place I have visited many times with friends over the years, and not once have I come away disappointed. We all ate from the Christmas menu so nice to keep that going on the 28th by the way and the food was excellent. Upon arrival from the car park, I was greeted by a very strong odour of wet dog at the entrance at the back. Not the best preparation for dinner. The dogs in the pub didn’t really bother me, and the feed was OK, but given the cost of the dinner, it was an extraordinary price for a fairly bland offering.
