I took an elderly couple (one was celebrating his 93rd birthday)out for a treat. We first drove up to up Buxton road and then dropped down through Macclesfield Forest. We called at the Leathers Smithy for a pre booked meal. We were very fortunate to have reserved a nice table, next to the fire with amazing scenic views of the adjacent reservoir and forest.
