"Booked for afternoon tea for me and my mum. Absolutely lovely setting and welcoming atmosphere. The tea sets and crockery were so beautiful. The selection of teas were amazing and I love the fact they were loose leaf! The afternoon tea itself was delicious (especially...the sandwiches, oh and the cakes…and everything else). Congratulations to the ladies at this tearoom for making such an amazing environment. I’ll be back asap!"

"Good local pub within an old building full of character. They have a pretty reasonable selection of drinks and the staff are friendly. No dedicated parking is available however, there is a local Pay-and-Display carpark opposite."

"We enjoyed a very tasty and fairly priced Sunday Lunch in the lounge at the Wickstead Arms today. The welcome and service throughout were fantastic. A cosy and traditional pub decor, with regulars at the bar but just as much welcome for someone new (and with a baby in tow). We hadn’t booked, but luckily there was a table. Gluten free Sunday Roast option. Clean and tidy including the toilets (no official baby change due to limited space, but a mat was available and the floor was clean)."

"We come to The Globe regularly and have had lots of Sunday Lunches eating in and takeaway, it's our favourite place to go for a traditional Sunday Lunch. We went today and all we can say is OUTSTANDING its the best Sunday Lunch we have ever had, the meat was cooked perfectly, the mash and vegetables were cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully."
