"I called here for lunch with my mother. what a great place! decor is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and welcoming and the eating is absolutely delicious and very cheap. very good menu selection. only a thought- my mother (she is 92) would always go for suppe as a midday selection, so it would be nice to see on the menu. we will definitely come back!"

"Booked for afternoon tea for me and my mum. Absolutely lovely setting and welcoming atmosphere. The tea sets and crockery were so beautiful. The selection of teas were amazing and I love the fact they were loose leaf! The afternoon tea itself was delicious (especially...the sandwiches, oh and the cakes…and everything else). Congratulations to the ladies at this tearoom for making such an amazing environment. I’ll be back asap!"

"Had a nice visit to the Cheshire cheese with family friends. the pub is beautiful. when it was a sunny evening, we went and sat at the bottom of the large beer garden where there was much space for our children to play. the manager dave and team were all very friendly welcome. we will surely go back. friendly and cozy pub."

"Visited this cafe and were sat upstairs in a very cold unheated room. Blankets provided on chairs. We were told someone would come up and take our order but after 15 minutes no one came. After asking again order was eventually taken for 2 Chicken and Veg Soups, 1 Panini and 3 Coffees. Waited another 15 minutes for coffees. Asked about the food and was told It was on its way. At least 10 minutes later the food finally arrived. Soup was basically clear water shredded cabbage, no sign of any chicken. Bill was nearly £30, extortionate for what we had. Will not be returning here and would not recommend to anyone."

"A welcoming pub serving delicious food. Took my children out for lunch and they both ordered Panini’s, I ordered something off the specials board. Food was excellent and cooked to order and fresh. Service was great and we were well looked after we had a lovely time!!"
