Goose island use to be my go-to place for great beer, but rev is just as good and become my new favorite. The best part is they have many vegan options, which are lacking at goose. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Revolution Brewing Co:
I enjoy going here especially for the beer, but it’s quite wild that there are so few vegan options on their menu in a neighboring full of “em! veggie burger without cheese goes well with the beer, and I think the kale salat is vegan without cheese, but I don’t know why they can’t be vegan than sub for everything. We tried some great beers. And despite waiting there was a nice atmosphere. The food is nice, but since it is right next to the AMAZING Chicago Diner it is a bit disappointing (maybe this is an unfair comparison, but... The menu mentioned nothing vegan, but the (very helpful staff gave us a few options that could be made vegan by making it out. The food wasn't wrong, but we can't remember what we had, and as foods that are not a good sign! Or is this to beer? Would be a great place to go for a society with people who refuse to taste vegan food! Keep in mind the people who walk the place, it is really nice that on a menu it is clear what vegan is (if we had not read about RB on Happy Cow, we would have assumed that there is nothing for us and left .
This place is loved by the locals, believe me RB is usually packed during the weekends. The first time I went I ordered the tempeh ruben and didn't like it. But my bf loved RB so much that I decided to give it another shot since they have so many other vegan options. Well I fell in love with their tofu scramble, it originally came with polenta and a plethora of veggies but they've since discontinued the polenta (bummer! . Minus the polenta, the tofu scramble is still pretty awesome and I love the basil sauce they top it with. This is definitely a cool place to check out if you're in town, it's also conveniently located near the California Blue Line stop.
I am a craft beer advocate. Craft breweries are great because there are so many of them and all of them have at least a couple great brews. Nonetheless, Rev is one which (in my opinion) is in a very select class of superiority.
Great experience great tasting beers friendly staff a must visit place!
This place fuc*ing rocks!!! A hidden gem in the neighborhood nobody knows, Avondale. They play classic movies and it's not a bro bar, Thank god.
