I never got to check out Troquet when it was in Ravenswood. I sampled from the River North location during Restaurant Week. I returned again a few days later with a friend before Restaurant Week ended. The restaurant is not pretentious. I have a feeling it's touted as a bar and grill more than it is as a French restaurant. It's good enough to wear the French label like a badge of honour. read more.
