What MrsD doesn't like about The Somerset Wagon:
Traditional pub food for mains was very nice but nothing unique however dessert was something else AMAZING had the Kinder Bueno cheesecake and can honestly say it was the best dessert I have ever tasted. Full price £6.50 but with the “Eat in to help out scheme” only £3.25 bargain huge portion easily buy 1 slice with 2 spoons! Was there visiting family if I was a lot nearer I would go again because of the desserts. read more.

Had a lovely lunch for a family birthday. Enjoyed the atmosphere, extensive menu at a good rate. Staff were friendly and attentive.

"Party of six on a Saturday evening evening, we hadn’t visited for 18 24 months. A lovely welcome, excellent starters and the spiced pork cannelloni is as good as remembered. Venetian bread and butter pudding and various desserts rounded up a super meal. The house red is excellent, always a good starting point! Super food and super staff, can’t wait to visit again."

"Dropped by today, as we were catching the train to Bath, and bought a few pastry items to take with us. The pistachio croissants were totally awesome and the sausage rolls had proper meat in them with both taste and texture. The sizes of everything...that came in the bags was exactly as the samples on show. I'm glad I don't live in Frome and commute to Bath for work every day, as i'd end up properly fat!"

"Great place for a spot of brunch. Their ‘Rooted Muffin’ is a great vegetarian take on the McDonald’s sausage and egg McMuffin, and would go as far as saying that it’s even better than the meat version! The Vegan wrap is very filling and The Full Indian dish is a refreshing change to your usual brunch/breakfast spots in Bath. Service is efficient and friendly. My only tip is to be sure to book in advance, especially if you want a table outside!"

"Absolutely fabulous experience. Won't post food photos as we had the tasting menu and I don't want to spoil anything, but every item was superb. Service lovely and we weren't rushed at all. Incredible value for seven courses as well. Really cool, quirky location. Loved it!"
