"We went here for breakfast, stumbled on the place. Walked inside and loved the setting, it was open and lots of seating. Fresh baking at the counter and little info blurbs written on the walls about local foods they use. Our server was informed and friendly. Our food came and it was fantastic. It had very nice presentation and was tasty and fresh. Our eggs and toast were cooked perfect and the coffee was some of the best coffee we have ever had. Anyone looking for a healthy breakfast or nice coffee spot would love this place. The owners clearly take pride in the place and food and it shows. Will definitely be a regular spot for us."

"Ordered from skip at 3:30. Delivered at 5:05. Missing 3/4 of my order. I call them, they insist the driver grabbed both bags. The one bag I did get contained a soggy deep fried roll that they informed me was sitting for over an hour waiting on skip. Like how disappointing is it that you think it's okay to send out food like that. It made me write this review because they literally didn't care how the food was when it got to me. As a restaurant, regardless if it's skips issue, you should always make sure you're food is too notch, unfortunately that's the cost you have to incur when you use 3rd party delivery. Look at all the extra revenue overall they make you, and literally you guys didn't care at all and started at bag sitting at the front, knowing the rolls are deepfried just getting soggy. Last time we spent $106. And this time $59. Just beware folks. I would rate zero if I could just for the lack of accountability let alone this unedible roll."

"My sister, who is a local, picked this place for a laid back Birthday dinner. She had been a couple of times and was a fan. I am now too! With a large selection of really nice traditional and fusion sushi, Sushi Yama does not disappoint. There was a slight mix up with my sister's order, which the staff promptly and politely fixed. If I lived in Chilliwack, this would be my go-to sushi spot."

"I we recently had a nice meal at this lovely restaurant.. however we did notice something different . There is a bunch of debris and other misc junkie stuff showing up in front of the glass where you would stand to look at the food and watch the preparation of the sushi . Also piles of containers on the top . Left a feeling of fast food take out rather than fine dining which has been my experience in the past . Hopefully they will clean this up ."
