The Duck Inn is in a quiet and leafy backstreet just off Cleveland St in Chippendale. It has a lovely dining room with a view over the garden through louvred glass windows which give it a relaxed tropical feel. The menu has an interesting selection...and the food was very nice. A lovely little pub with a great courtyard. Dog and people friendly with great staff. Veggie options could be better (hint: falafel and gnocchi are old hat and you get them virtually everywhere). It's amazing to me that chefs don't even think oh, we do bangers mash for meat-eaters, let's do a veggie version too'. Vegetarianism is the future get with it. If they could get that right they'd have the perfect pub View all feedback.

When the weather is good you can also eat and drink outside, and there's a counter where you can sit and enjoy. The guest room invites you to linger and extensively eat, If you plan to show up with a larger group of people, there is a spacious dining hall. Babiesandtoddlers can sit in children's chairs (please inquire).
