"We came here for lunch after being recommended it. We were not disappointed! The food was very fresh and delicious and the menu choices were far greater than what we were expecting. The service was lovely and the atmosphere very relaxed. We loved it so...much we stayed longer for coffee and cake. We didn't want to leave."

"Friendly staff, good service, attached to a great pub and nice indian food. We ate there twice in a week. The Tuesday deal is great value and the usual menu is very varied with some interesting dishes. Drinks are served quickly from the pub even when busy and the food is to a good standard. Moving to CC soon and looking forward to eating there again after a pint in The Volunteer."

"We had a really delightful time at this traditional pub. The owners are personable, helping us, (Americans) choose ales to suit our tastes, and made us feel at home playing a game of pick up sticks at our table, before ordering dinner which was excellent. I had the pesto fish and my partner the Hunters chicken. And lucky us, because a tour group was there, local traditional musicians entertained. Oh, and the sticky toffee pudding not to be missed. An easy walk from Chipping Camden."

"We visited in May 2021. it was so difficult to get to a table and had to remain silent and very busy. the personal was helpful and the service was good. we had the cauliflower wedge and the food dish. the cauliflower wedge was particularly good and has completely transformed us into the cauliflower. a good option in this neck of the forest where there are not many vegan friendly places"
