Went for mothers day, there were 7 of us altogether including my son who has coeliac disease. The menu offered a variety of gluten free options and our waiter was extremely helpful. The front of house staff were warm and welcoming and the pub had an inviting and calm atmosphere. Food was delicious and if something was unavailable an recommend alternative was offered. "My first taste of Aperol happened in Venice, extremely appropriate given Aperol’s Italian heritage. Topped with soda and gazing out on Venice’s intricate, windy cobbled streets, this bright drink has the power to transport me right back. View from the Grand Canal. I’ve always viewed this as a bit of a summer drink though and Aperol are on a mission to change that and make Aperol a year-round tipple and so they’ve invited us to the Cocktail Trading Co to get a crash course in how to make this drink and show us just how easy drinking it is year round."
