What a fab little hideaway tucked down the back of the Embassy theatre. Great for a quiet drink, tapas before a movie, or a date. Slightly dark and mysterious. Good wine selection. Service could've been better, but we think there was a mini crisis happening when we approached the counter to be served. View all feedback.
Fab night of Jazz, excellent service, nibbles platter very willing to make cocktails that weren't on the menu. Great night!
Fantastic ambience, style, music, and furnishings. Only thing The Black Sparrow could do better is provide more NZ ciders :
Full Menu
The current menu card may be expanded on site to include seasonal specialties and weekly recommendations. In addition to a variety of menus, the menu also offers a variety of beverages and typical house dishes. Additionally, the menu card also takes into account dishes and ingredients that have been commendably highlighted by guests, even if these have not yet been listed.
