What pjthants likes about Japanese Canteen Ludgate Broadway:
A chain Japanese restaurant. Expectations were not high. However to my surprise my pork wontons were quite good as was my chicken bibimbap (which came in a hot stone bowl). I'm nit-picking here but perhaps the miso was a bit of a let down. Service was prompt and on a couple of occasions staff asked if we needed anything. Yes, a bit of a surprise and good value too. As a Japanese restaurant, 1 thing they should have is Salmon... and they were out It was about 8:10pm on a Monday so not even like it was late at night. And I asked if they had sold out for the day or they just had non in stock. He said none in stock After rice, salmon is something they should ALWAYS have in stock. I went for lunch, noodles cold and soggy. I was given a refund with no complaint. I dont understand why a potentially nice place could run down like this
