Stopped for a meal on Saturday when heading for a show said were on a tright schedule. Very polite attentive but initially slow however once highlighted everything arrived quickly (and in good time) and as an apology didn't charge us for the meal too now that's service and way beyond what we expected thank you very much! Yo! Sushi on Oxford Circus is located in two places. This particular review is for the Selfridges outlet of Yo! Sushi located on the 4th floor of the building in the cafeteria. The sushi here was average. I had the veggie sushi box and I can say that while it is definitely value for money, I feel that the soya used isn't of the best of quality. Control was nice at first, but when you're appointed that you have reserved through the fork, you're suddenly treated very differently. Suddenly they're not so nice anymore! Food was moderate, not very special.
If I could rate this zero I would. Booked this for a special Xmas dinner with my family. They scammed us by taking our deposit before then not taking it off the final bill for the Xmas dinner. We had to follow up continually after the holidays, they also charged us an optional tipping amount without our knowledge. I could forgive all of this if dinner was delicious but no it was so bad, missing most of what was promised and totally inedible... would not recommend on a good day much less on such a special occasion. Shame on the management of this place.
I am sorry to write this as I am sure they are all very nice people, BUT the service was non existent: had to ask for menus 3x, had to ask for our food, had to ask for our sides (2x) wine (2x) and check (3x again) The food was Awful. Oddly spiced luckily there wasn’t much of it! The puddings lovely but I don’t normally go for a pudding. The music was great! Sadly not enough of an incentive to return.

Such a nice place with great service, dont understand why this is not packed every day!
