Got 3 Pizzas. Two pepperoni and one dry sausage. The food was okay, it was decent. Was a little bland. would prefer Pizza with a little more flavor. Since the flavor mozzarella is mild, would prefer you do what you can to enhance the taste, or add more flavor to the pizza itself. Was looking forward to trying this place when I heard they had vegan slices. The slices itself was good and loaded with yummy veggies, but the cheese was not even melted a little bit. It was stringy and kind of tasteless. Vegan cheese can totally melt, it's just about getting the right cooking time. I'd advise a vegan slice without cheese if you're lactose intolerant or vegan. read more.

"I checked out Covenhoven with some friends on a Friday afternoon/evening while visiting Brooklyn. This is a happening little spot with a wide selection of beers on tap and in a large refrigerator for purchase. So many options to choose from and I enjoyed looking through the fridge section for the wild and quirky beers I've never heard of before. It was fun sitting out on their outdoor courtyard. There's some basic pub fare food as well if you get hungry. I would definitely stop back in again."

"A woman who wasn 't even our waiter gave us the check and a to go box before we were even done dining. When I said I was going to order more, don 't worry we 'll tell you when we want the check she nastily told us we have a 1 hour and 30 minute limit .... OK we had only been there for 40 minutes! How is that relevant? They REALLY want to rush people out of there since they 're busy, but guess what? Not our problem. My food was actually very good but a couple of the people I was with didn 't even like their food, and the woman trying to rush us out really spoiled the mood. We asked for more tea and didn 't get any after that also. It 's too bad because the guy who was our waiter was fine. Not pleasant, but functional as a waiter."
