"Usually the food choices around the highway hotels are chains or nasty Chinese/Italian places. We were pleasantly surprised to see that the number one restaurant in town was across the street from our hotel! We walked over and had a fantastic meal! All the food is made in-house (sausages, bread, dressings, and pasta) and fantastic. Not only do they make their own lobster bisque, they also make their own stock for all their soups. They also have a great wine list!"

"One of the guys at the hotel where I stayed, and another of my doctor's friends recommended Arnie's and I'm so glad I accepted her recommendation. I enjoyed my meals. I ordered the grilled liver and onions and spaghetti with sauce. Omg the grilled liver and onions were all and more. The guy at the bar was very friendly, I also met many nice people there. I recommend this restaurant when you are in Plattsburgh, don't think twice try it out."

"Didn't get my nuggets I ordered and no ketchup in the bag for 3 orders of fries!!! Of course I realized all this after driving to destination. The happy meal nuggets were gross, all shriveled like they were old. Fish sandwhich was ok. Put ketchup in the bags for the fries!!!!! Argh!"
