"This was my first main course with cod tongues. Fish is something the locals know how to prepare. The scrunchions were very salty, as they should be. The dish came with vegetables and a boiled potato. The beer washed it all down nicely. There are not many options in L'Anse au Clair. That I did not have to leave where we were staying was a bonus."

"Located in a local hotel, Meer View has no 'sea view'. Our children ordered a 4 STAR Greek pizza. I had a 3 STAR day special that was a fantastic value. The menu is quite standard for the area. I'd stick to the daily special or the pizza. Like all the places we tried in Labrador, the hospitality was 5 STARS in their own way."
