"What a special meal this was intimate, scenic and delicious! We were seated at the most perfect table, with a front row view of the beautiful garden. Our server was very attentive and the food was great some of the best crab cakes I've ever had! Reasonable prices overall for the quality of food, especially the bottles of wine"

"Wait staff very friendly and attentive. Eat delicious. I had the Alpenburger, juicy mushrooms and cheese with frits, cooked for perfection. Husband had a meat plate he enjoyed. We sat inside and asked the waitress if she could turn off the fan over us. They have large outdoor heating. Very recommended."

"*FOOD* I ordered the breakfast sandwich with cheese, and it hit the spot. The eggs and bacon were between two toasted Texas toast slices, which was great. I wasn't a huge fan of my latte, but they have a very large drink menu sure to please your party. They have many options for their all-day breakfast sure to please everyone. *AMBIANCE* This place is homey and intimate. They have seating on their front and back covered patios as well as inside dining options. *SERVICE* Everyone we interacted with here was extremely friendly. We had a large party, and they were more than happy to accommodate us. They had a 40 minute wait once you placed an order for food, but they expressed this to everyone at the hostess stand, so you weren't surprised. Everything came out hot and fresh after the wait."

"I discovered this little gem last year and loved it so much that I came back this year and will continue to come back when visiting the area for years to come. If you want a quiet weekend in the woods in a charming historical lake house this is a great place to choose. Quaint little bar and restaurant with delicious food and drinks. Rooms are reasonably priced even in October and rate includes breakfast. The staff are friendly and welcoming and make every effort to ensure your stay is comfortable. If you love quiet evenings in the mountains, listening to the crickets and being in nature and you don?t mind being without TV or a more bed and breakfast vibe than modern hotel then you will love this place."

"Please eat here, you will not be disappointed. The service was amazing and the food was phenomenal. We ordered the Brisket Nachos for an app and I could say that everything even the bbq sauce was homemade. I had the Cesar salad with chicken for my meal and it was so fresh. The chicken was cooked for perfection. Even if you have a dog, you can eat outside and they bring your dog a bowl of water, as sweet!"

"Oh. My. Gosh. A true hidden gem. Fine dining with a rustic feeling. The French Onion soup outrageously delish..delight... a must try. Best I have ever had. Everything is homemade and you can see no details are missed. I got a veggie Alfredo dish with the Alfredo made to perfection. My husband had the Sirloin and loved it. Interestingly, this is also a Bed and Breakfast. We may need to stay here if we pass this way again..."
