We heard really good things about this restaurant and it wasn't disappointed. We ordered the cattle breeze, pork ribs, Hush puppies and Coleslaw. Everything was delicious! We had to drive 45 minutes per way to the restaurant and it was worth it! I think it's one of the best BBQ facilities in the DMV. Asked for the pulled beef brisket today (which I have had here several times since the new ownership took over in July, and which is my favourite thing on the menu), but was served sliced brisket instead. "One of my favorite light-lunchboxes in dc. they have in the ground themselves rice, nudel and or salat bowl with a southeast Asian flair. A.k.a dressings are more fish sauce and acid-based, which is delicious and refreshing, but still tasteful. when I first visited, I think it was one of the owners who worked the front so that there was a little more love in the salat than my new visit, but the employee helped me this time was still very friendly. the chicken salad is always a winner and they can choose how sharp they want it. they also have a series of vegan dressings and various protein options or even a kicherbsen curry when they look different. the star of my visit was this time the buttersemolina cake. this cache was so soft and creamy with a warm fat syrup, and the nuts and light texture of the smolina really works in this cake. an extremely decadent way to finish and otherwise light meal"
