"Great eating, great service, great atmosphere! many choices in the menu to please everyone and a good selection of beer and if they are not sure what to get, they have fantastic daily specialties to choose. food made fresh to even make gluten-free choices available with fresh ingredients. "We visited here twice whilst staying nearby. The first reason for eating here was that dogs are allowed in the bar. On the first night I enjoyed the unusual combination of BBQ belly pork with Mac and cheese and garlic bread. Very good and filling! My wife enjoyed a pasta dish with a cream and garlic sauce. On our return visit we were advised that there was a quiet table in the corner of the restaurant which we could sit at with the dog. This time I enjoyed a cheeseburger while my wife enjoyed loaded fries. No room for desert again. The food was good and the staff friendly and efficient. We will be back. An added plus is the car park next door has free parking after 7pm."

"Food is very overpriced and substandard the crab starter was disgusting and was taken off of our bill £17.95 for average fish and chips Great views and nice inside, service was good albeit a bit overfamiliar but the restaurant is poor value and the food is not good enough at all. The owners should look at this urgently, four of us ate and four of us felt ripped off. Shame really. Hotel highlights: Great view"

"Amazing fish and chips, with every Saturday GLUTEN FREE special. Staff is incredibly nice, welcoming and knowledgeable about all their products. Fish is great, haddock and MSc certified Cod (even if I rather not eat cod as the stock is really low, something certification can 't change as of now). Fish batter both regular and gluten free were super crisp and light, with a great flavor. Onion rigs were superb and very fresh. They also have ice-cream but haven 't tried it. Looks great though. Get ur fish and walk 100m to the view point with the cannons, where there are benches and tables to eat your fish and chips with a view. All in all amazing experience, especially in a winter sunny day. Ps. Across the road you can buy a beer, cider or a locally roasted hot coffee at the gourmet pig to compete the meal or before the drive back home. "A so friendly reception at the tor and in the eulen area. the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and answered asking the guests have made. the area is a beautiful place to explore and with the labyrinth and children's playground are also entertained younger visitors. dogs are welcome in the grounds, but not in the eulen area or on the castle tour. close to the eulent area, there is a so-called Doggy-Tage-Pflege area, but this could be greatly improved, but on the statement that I would recommend it for a day."

"Went for Sunday lunch. Good choice of roasts available along with other dishes too for those not wanting a roast. Starters and desserts were varied. I do not eat many veg so they gave me a little bit of extra meat and potatoes. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The desserts were divine. Eva the chef did home made Lemon cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding. Both were amongst the very best we have ever tasted, simply superb. Thank you all very much we will be back."
