"Here visiting family for the weekend came across this fish chip shop great friendly atmosphere the moment you walked in Menu choice perfect The only fish chips shop in the area even does kebabs Nice size haddock ordered cooked while you wait constant stream of customers but they are not flustered If you’re kept waiting when your order is ready an instant apology for keeping you waiting Very good value for money too. "Friendly cafe with amazing artwork covering the walls. Relaxed slow service which allows time for conversation, admiring the views and artwork. Everyone's food in our group was marvellous. I don't really want to let the world know as I may not be able to get a table in the future !"

"It was a first visit to the restaurant we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. For mains we had the beef which was superb, cooked exactly how we like it. The staff were very friendly, would have given 5 stars but our dessert order didn't get put through, so bit of a wait. We didn't mind too much as they kindly supplied us with a free drink. Worth a visit, especially for those special occasions."

"Excellent classic fish chips, highly recommended. Fish batter was light and not greasy, fish fresh. Chips lovely. Cooked to order and worth the wait. Staff polite and helpful in a busy very hot shop."
