we had the afternoon, the cakes were plates of cakes all very nice, but not really what they expect for a afternoon tee. the service was nice and friendly a table came up with small children and the noise level increased significantly. but a beautiful place and service. read more.

The only thing going for this place was the historic setting. No wonder the restaurant was empty!! The food was mediocre and the surcharge as a non resident for a very tough steak was not at all clearly indicated of the menu! Not a proper statement ,just a small easily missed letter.
