During our holiday at Forest of Dean Forest Holidays, we visited The Dog Muffler as recommended by them. The food and staff were fantastic, providing excellent service and being very friendly. The meal was delicious and offered great value for money. I highly recommend this lovely pub to anyone looking for exceptional service and delicious homemade food. Once in a while you have a surprise and this was one of those occasions. It’s one of the best Sunday lunch we have had for a very long time. Looked on Google maps and found the the pub local to us where we were staying. Callled in without a reservation but still managed to get us in 2 adults and a dog they could not be more welcoming I don’t think we have met anyone more accommodating. Before we ordered food a fresh bowl of water and treats for our dog. The food was wonderful so fresh and tasty the manager was easy to talk to and so chatty without being over powering or intrusive. We will be back !
