"Writing a review of a restaurant is a first for me, as a previous restaurant owner I understand things can go wrong. This was blatant rudeness on the part of the owner. There are a multitude of fast food restaurants in this town. If I want to eat and run I can go there. We go to dine! That means that we will order wine, order an appetizer, main course and sometimes dessert. When you tell a customer they have 90 minutes and at the 60 minute mark we are warned that we have to leave in 30 min, what kind of customer service is that? Not the first time you have done this, if you had a line up at the door, if there were no empty tables I might have understood, This was not the case. We continued our discussion for another 30 minutes on the street where we were parked. You have lost good regular customers, you should take some lessons from Martine's they know what customer service is. Not only that the owner always has a smile on his face!"

"Ordered takeout food for five people on a Saturday night. When we got there the restaurant was very busy and the customers seemed quite satisfied. Our food was fine when we got it home; everyone was happy. Only downside was a delay in the pickup:...we were told minutes, but it was more like Another customer who came in after us was also waiting with us and he complained that they were running about minutes later than they told him his would be ready. Understand they were busy, still they should have worked that into their time estimate."

"This was our first visit to Martine’s after a glowing recommendation from friends. I was curious as to why I received a phone call today asking if we were going to attend our reservation. It started raining so I assumed they wanted to weed people...out as their patio was going to be unavailable. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly waiter but the rush started right then and there. In total, we were in the restaurant for exactly one hour. During that time we consumed a very good Caesar salad, two glasses of wine and a mediocre main course. It looked lovely, but as a cook, I felt the combination of items were wrong and the meal was definitely not to the standard I would expect from this restaurant. The decor is very tired. The floor is in desperate need of refinishing and the interior is very dark. Prices were fair but all in all, the experience was Ho hum. It sure I will be doing a repeat performance!"
