"While on holiday, this restaurant was highly recommended ... and deservedly so ! Our table on the terrace offered up amazing views of the river, which became even more appealing as the sun set ! We were also able to see the flourishing herb garden which is used extensively throughout the dishes served. We all opted for the Chef's Special, which was a 3 course delight, starting with an unusual pairing of crème brule with a fois gras filling, followed by a delicious veal dish, and an amazing dessert. Our waiter was charming and explained each dish in detail. It certainly made our last evening in this gorgeous area very special, and I'm happy to recommend La Mandragore to anyone who enjoys a gourmet sensation."
