We went for a quick meal here on a recommendation. Staff initially were a little quiet but did become more engaging when ordering. The food is good, not as good as what I ate in Northern India. I just went to Darby Raj to buy a portion of chilli pickle, that's all. I stood right in front of the till for 5 minutes, with the chilly pickle in my hand. The staff completely ignored me. Looked through me. And lost a local regular customer, for good. Well done. read more.

Had lunch there today with friends. Still the best Indian food in Newcastle. We had Chicken Kashmiri, Mango Chicken, and Fish curry. Plus naan and Mango lassi....
