"What a beautiful place to stay. We were at Irton Hall for two nights. The setting was tranquil, and the grounds surrounding the Hall were well kept and made an evening stroll before dinner easy, just what we needed after a long journey from our home on the Outer Hebrides. The staff were so helpful and very friendly. We ate in the hotel both nights and the food was delicious. Our room was spacious, very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath was fabulous especially after a hike up Scafell Pike! Jamie gave us a potted history of the Hall, thank you, Jamie. All in all we just couldn't fault it. We will be back."

"We went to the off-channels and got a nice table for 2 of a very inviting waitress. the menu is very extensive, much to choose whether it pasta, pizza, huh or fish. the food was amazing, full of taste, generous portions and came hot and in good time. Definitively some of the best Italian cuisine I have ever eaten! salvage to the owners and the staff. will definitely come back when we are in or near barrow."

"We live broughton caffe for the wonderful good. freshly baked and cooked. the service is always friendly and pointed top . prices are good. it is our local caffe for when we are in our mobile home and it is such a pleasure at a wet lake district day to immerse for coffee and a scoone."

"The best cafe we have ever come to. the sweetest place. so glad we stumbled over this little caffe. we enjoyed it so much that we came back on the second day of our break, and we will come back every time we visit coniston in the future. the staff is so friendly and friendly, nothing too much annoyed. they offer for all needs have a lot of options on the menu that they do not tend to get anywhere else. I was determined for the choice of what I should choose, everything looked so good. the food itself is local products.so fresh and tasty, and the acidic teigbrot is from this world. we would even go so far as to say the best breakfast we've ever had. the caffe itself is a beautiful little cozy slate chic café with beautiful decor and beautiful small finishing touchs that made it easy for me. they also offer food drinks to take away have a beautiful sitting area in the free round the back to sit down, enjoy a cuppa, watch the world go through the great british weather. we can't expect to visit again. many thanks to x"
