"Lovely restaurant in the Main Street in Cockermouth. The owner and his wife as well as their service are friend and helpful. The food was very good! Having just been in Turkey 6 months ago, I must say the food in this restaurant was better than in Turkey. We ordered a few starters and mains and everything was absolutely delicious! My personal favorites were: sigara boregi (filo pastry rolls filled with feta), Ali nazik kebab (lamb kebabs on a bed of aubergine and pepper yogurt). "I decided to go on a little road trip yesterday with my wife we are from Scotland, I have seen many posts before about the Fairydust Emporium and always wanted to visit, let's just say the 1 hour journey was definitely worth it. Fairydust Emporium was so easy to find on entry to the shop we were greeted by the lovely long haired cat sat outside, as we went in the place was so warm and inviting, the staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is just something else, it's well presented and the portions are massive and very well priced would certainly recommend this place to anyone well done beautiful place."
