What User likes about Crown & Moose:
This was conveniently located near our hotel, the Glynmill Inn. We visited on our first full day in Newfoundland and received our introduction to Iceberg beer. Our meal of (what else?) cod was good, the environment comfortable, the beer excellent and the service good. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Crown & Moose:
My husband, son and I stopped by on Canada Day for lunch. The fish and chips was OK. But our waitress I think her name was Linda - was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly and made the experience great. View all feedback.

Prompt and friendly serviceTried the sirloin as it was on specialGarden salad was fresh if unremarkable.
Awful food. Nice people. The breakfast was so burned I couldn't eat it. The sausage tasted bad. The bacon wasn't crisp.
Nice pub with a great patio. Service was quick and friendly. Had the grilled 2 piece fish dinner with a side of onion rings. Both were very good.

read moreCrown and Moose offers average pub grub with friendly service. The fish and chips were OK, while the French dip sandwich and mango salad fell short. The restaurant's location near the Glynmill Inn is convenient, and the Iceberg beer was a highlight. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, with a good selection of beer. The friendly waitress, Robyn, stood out for exceptional service. Despite some slow service experiences, the food overall was excellent. The fried chicken sandwich was particularly memorable. Basic pub fare fills a gap, but don't expect fine dining. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.
