"We stopped here for lunch on the way back from the bodmin wenford steam train; it felt a bit like a magic mysteries tour, but the sat nav led us to a beautiful pub in a stunning location. excellent food service. I had the whispers, my man had the fish goujons, my father the (enormous! pork chop, my daughter sink, egg chips and my son the steak chips. everyone was thrilled what I think could be a first! highly recommended."

"We visited the bistro with 6 friends recently and had a fabulous meal. The staff were helpful and informative on both the wine list and food. The dining area is a beautiful setting and they accommodated 8 lively tourists very well. Standout dishes were the scallops and seabass. Adam, the chef was fabulous and most importantly the food was great. Would definitely recommend this bistro and would come again."

"Absolutely awful food and extortionately priced to boot. Not at all welcoming, we were ignored. Very limited menu, mainly consisting of what seemed to be microwaved and fried food. Sauce bottles haven't been cleaned in a very long time elderly looking sauce was congealed under the bottle top, so I dread to think what the kitchen is like. Our disabled son was told by the waitress to get his own drink from the fridge. Toilets are disgusting. We won't be back."

"What a brilliant find. Driven past on many occasions previously, it answered our lunch call at 2pm on Easter Sunday. So many things to like. Great service from the moment we walked in, every member of staff was the same; warm, friendly, calm and...efficient. Interesting menu in an age when all menu’s seem to be very similar, it was great to find somewhere with genuine variety. High quality food every meal our party ordered was top notch. And the homemade cakes were something else innovative and tasty. Can’t wait to visit again (maybe for breakfast the menu looked great). 100% recommend."
