What Ian and Helen S likes about Crab Shack:
A completely different dining experience but an amazing one. Set in a rustic environment and seated on communal wooden tables, the menu choice is what you would expect either scallops (with different flavoured butters) or sardines to start and a choice of small, medium or large crab for mains(again with a choice of flavoured butters) with salad or fries as side dishes. What Hugh J doesn't like about Crab Shack:
The crab is exceptional. So is the moules mariniere . Unfortunately neither come with any sides. The muscles don't even come with bread. Bread is £4.50 per basket of 6 tiny slices. For a table of 8, we had to buy 5 baskets of bread, 3 baskets of chips and 2 baskets of salad to go with the rich seafood. This was an absolute rip off and spoilt our evening. My husband was desperate to visit the crab shack (our GP actually recommended it), I don't eat shellfish, but on booking they were happy to prepare meat kebabs...
