"Stopped in here after a day at the Eden project. Service was friendly, quick and informative. Drinks orders were taken straight away and we were told about the day’s specials. Food was ordered shortly after and arrived in good time. Meals were absolutely fantastic- good portion size, tasty ingredients and delicious flavours. Will definitely be returning the next time we are in Penzance."

"Booked this for my boyfriend’s 30th whilst we were visiting Cornwall. It was more expensive than where we would usually go, but probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had, we were both very impressed, and well worth the money. Staff were very friendly, and it had a lovely atmosphere. Lovely that we could walk out and pretty much straight onto the beach with a view of St Michael’s Mount. I would love to go back again when we next visit Cornwall."

"After buying three burgers and commenting on the price being a bit high I can only offer my apologies as I couldn’t have been more wrong. Once I received the burgers I felt total embarrassment for my comments. The burgers were probably the best burgers I’ve ever seen they were real meat and what you’d expect from a very nice restaurant. Sorry and thank you."

"We went on a Saturday evening with friends and first impressions weren't great. The dining room was cold, and there were few other diners. We ordered starters, which were ok (trout, sardines and mackerel) but not especially memorable. Of the main courses, only the Turbot (at £40) was good, but the Gurnards and other dish were served luke warm and were tastless. Even the fries were very disappointing and cold. The waitron we had was attentive but it really didn't feel like the kitchen was trying very hard. As we were celebrating a birthday, we didn't want to spoil the evening further by making a fuss, but we left feeling we wouldn't every return. Such a shame as many reviews were so positive and expectations had been high."

"A table for 4 booked. good food, nice decor restaurant. it brings its own alcohol, which is in order, as I mean my own wein from the local tesco expression. the restaurant seemed clean and quite expensive. the table service was a little poor, as the young boy who served every article, brought out one at the time and felt like forever for everyone to get his meal. he also forgot to bring the rice out for all currys. I get the impression that he's new and still learns the job. besides the table service is worth a visit."

"Very friendly staff who understand what is vegan and what is not that offer milk and margarine. Nice food. Nice atmosphere. The wood stove was exactly what we needed. I had cultivated cauliflower soup with bread and vegan margarine, followed by vegan Christmas cake"
