"The penny come quick could be a new pub with a young staff, but they would not suspect that. As soon as they open the door, she draws in the warm, inviting atmosphere. the decor is traditional, with a glowing fire, much old wood with a node to the sea, like harbour holes in doors, without being tweet. it has all ingredients of a great place for a cozy dinner for two or a congenial meeting with friends. and talking about eating, the menu selection and quality are excellent. they have skillfully kept the choices to a minimum to ensure that there are options for sweet, meat and fish at different price points. I had fish and chips broken, a favorite of me. it was cooked to perfection. but then I am a little biased – the cook is my son!"

"The choices were excellent- a full page in the menu plus a dedicated gluten free menu. The prices were a little steep considering the portion sizes but overall was tasty, good atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend if in the area!"

"We are a family of six and we stayed here four times in our two week stay, so good we had to come back! All the food was amazing, really good portions and very cheap. It was definitely our favorite meal while on vacation. The staff was very friendly and service was fab : thank you."
