"Rude manager, was served the wrong order, three young lads ordered cokes, served coke and three lattes, questioned as they didn’t order coffee, and told yes they did, sarcastic apology given but no refund, and took the coffees back which we had been charged for!!! why would three 14 year olds order lattes? If the manager was to have given a sincere apology we would have probably said no issue, and let it go, but her attitude was awful"

"We stopped here for lunch on the way back from the bodmin wenford steam train; it felt a bit like a magic mysteries tour, but the sat nav led us to a beautiful pub in a stunning location. excellent food service. I had the whispers, my man had the fish goujons, my father the (enormous! pork chop, my daughter sink, egg chips and my son the steak chips. everyone was thrilled what I think could be a first! highly recommended."

"Wow, an excellent experience. We had the most amazing meal at Couch's last night. Very friendly, very interactive very timely, very happy service all night even after we had finished. Not usually a big lover of soup .. but wow the Amuse Bouche was brilliant, flavours hitting the taste buds with the soup, the butter and the sea salt brioche. My partner and I had Crab and Scallops for starters which were devine. A generous portion of Hake was fantastic with what can only be called a ring of flavour being an unbelievable Salsa Verde. The trio of desserts brought up the rear with no less pleasure. The chocolate bonbon being the star for me. A wonderful bottle of Pinot helped cement the pleasurable experience for us. Bravo Richard and his team at Couch's, well done for presenting us with the best meal we've ever had."
