"Couldn’t have found a more lovely place for a family meal-wish we’d found The Ivy house earlier…We were greeted like family members,you can feel yourself relaxing instantly,the whole vibe of the place is chilled,intimate and so welcoming. The menu isn’t large,which,personally is a great thing, food was fresh,beautifully presented,delicately flavoured to bring out the best of what you were eating. There’s a fantastic chilled lounge next door,all Indian rugs,lanterns,cushions and lights..half open to the elements…unfortunately it was a bit too chilly to sit there when we went,but can imagine that it’s wonderful on a warm Summers evening….It’s definitely n o t designer,thank goodness,but if you like something a bit different,with amazing food,then go! There’s plenty of parking,just an all round brilliant place..Thank you so much for such a happy evening."

"We stopped here for lunch on the way back from the bodmin wenford steam train; it felt a bit like a magic mysteries tour, but the sat nav led us to a beautiful pub in a stunning location. excellent food service. I had the whispers, my man had the fish goujons, my father the (enormous! pork chop, my daughter sink, egg chips and my son the steak chips. everyone was thrilled what I think could be a first! highly recommended."

"OMG delicious food. We nearly missed out as all the take away slots were booked but they squeezed us in. We waited at the bar and the food was ready exactly when they said it would be. The staff were lovely and efficient. Our food was amazing! Chicken satay with lovely crunchy sauce, delicious soup and a fabulous massaman curry. If we were here longer, we’d be back!"

"We were really looking forward to our coffee having visited often. No toilets, paper cups both forgivable tasteless coffee was not. Perhaps I should have said, perhaps someone should have asked if all was OK. Just very disappointed."
