"I found it difficult to recommend anywhere for a fine dining experience in West Cornwall until we visited Tabb’s on Thursday 14th September. Small menu (always a good sign) with just 5 or 6 starters, mains and desserts, I was excited by the menu representing local, seasonal produce. Faultless service, with a complimentary amuse bouche of mushroom soup with garlic oil and lovely homemade bread. The starters of bream on black pasta with artichoke cream was outstanding, whilst my other half really enjoyed a lightly spiced Thai soup. Beef short rib and duck main courses were cooked to perfection and had outstanding sides including pig cheeks with chick peas. Dessert of chocolate marquis with black treacle ice cream and salted caramel sauce was one if the best desserts we have ever had-so much so we licked the plates! Decent wine list at reasonable prices and complimentary iced tap water. This place is an absolute gem and we will be returning on a regular basis."

"Had a delicious Sunday pub roast here which hit the spot after a long day of walking. Great beer and cider selection and friendly service, all at a reasonable price. One of the best meals to be had in Falmouth and would recommend to anyone passing through."

"This is a tiny, informal place that does home cooked food, well. It's so much better than bigger places serving warmed over bought-in stuff from food service companies like Brakes. We had pan-fried sardines with Romesco sauce, hand cut chips and salad. Local, seasonal, made with care. They also do a range of home made cakes which we didn't try but which looked the business. Simple, good quality, and very much recommended."

"WOW! Team Green room win again. Its the loveliest relaxing spot in the whole of Cornwall and its not the first time I have stopped here. Every time I hear cheery customers thanking this young team and saying they will be back. I can well...understand why if my Full English is anything to go by..... Oven roasted locally sourced sausages, thick delicious bacon again sourced from the local butchers, seasoned tomatoes and mushrooms all cooked to perfection....not to mention all eggs and dairy products sourced local as well as the black pud, hogs pud and hash browns... How do I know all this, a proud lovely lady called Helen who owns and runs the place enthusiasticaly ran me through all the delightful details. Such a great team, well trained and obviously enjoying what they do."
