"My husband and I have eaten at many Kabob restaurants in Riverside, Oceanside and San Diego. Having tried Kabob House in Riverside, we are definitely coming back and sharing our experience. The unique flavors, the spices used are very aromatic, you enjoy each bite more and more. The Baklava was delicious as well."

"The good: interior was fairly modern, lots of seating, and no wait. Do not take the booth tables near the door if it is cold outside. The restaurant is busy so the door is almost constantly open. The waitress was grumpy but efficient and I care more about efficiency so the grumpiness is not a deterrent to me.The bad: the banh mi was not good. The meat was fatty and not rendered well, which made the beef tough and chewy. The sandwich is served on a non-toasted French roll instead of a crispy baguette with the flakey bread banh mi sandwiches are known for. The pho was average, not bad, and not great, just ok."

"The meal was not fresh for salmon. We have to throw it away. The chicken was dry. This is not like other Waba Grill we visited at all. I called twice, first we misunderstood that we ordered salmon but got chicken. It was a piece of white meat which has bad smelled. After sent the picture to one of the employee, and they clarified it was a salmon. She said we could get a refund for that plate. It would be very inconvenient for us , since we are not from here to drive back and forth for this transaction."

"Large portions, yummy food! El Cerrito Cafe is a great option for a simple, no frills breakfast/lunch. Out of the things we ordered, we enjoyed the El Cerrito Burrito and Chilaquiles the most. The crispy potatoes in the burrito was a pleasant surprise and the tortilla was thin and not overly bunched up. The chilaquiles was very flavorful- definitely a must get here. We wanted to try the menudo, but unfortunately that is only offered on the weekends. Seems like you can't really go wrong with anything here. We enjoyed the large portions and homey cooking!"

"Dined in for dinner on 4/30/2022. Hadn't been to this location since the beginning of covid as the management team was terrible the last visit. Not sure if the management changed but our server, Jared, was excellent and will return solely on the servicehe provided. Was able to score a double bone-in pork chop which was huge, tender and delicious. The pizza was the BJ's subparversion of its old self and the table knew what they were getting into so there was no surprise there. I wouldn't head to BJ'sfor deep dish as it's premade air filled crust is all profit and no taste. Jared kept our drinks full and table clear offinished plates. He provided us with such great service it made our meal much more enjoyable. In a time where service at mostlocal restaurants is lacking Jared was a much welcomed delight."
