We were here for a large and intricate wedding and the grounds and decor (planned by the bride and groom 's families) were just gorgeous. The event was truly memorable but the actual mansion itself could use more restroom facilities (the tented area uses a glorified port a potty with 3 stalls for ladies only. We used to go here in the 1970's many times when I lived in Putnam Valley. At that time it was a mediocre at best restaurant. There were MANY more that provided far better food. The views were however spectacular. Sadly no one ever pumped the required money into this decaying venue and it shows today. It has 5 star POTENTIAL but 1 star experiences.
