Outstandingly good in my experience the full English breakfast is a great deal. Also the coffee is good along with the significant portion sizes with the cakes....

Lovely little quaint cafe in the heart of Durham City UK. Very friendly and attentive staff. Lovely food and coffee. Would highly recommend this to anyone visit...

"Me and my boyfriend popped by this place after reading trip advisor reviews that are mostly really good, we were not disappointed, it was clean, the staff are very attentive and friendly. The only downfall was my first option was not available however what I did receive was very tasty, my partner was very satisfied and always notices good quality food which he did comment on. A lovely start to our day, service with a smile makes a difference, thank you."

"Fantastic culinary experience……… My wife and I, along with our dear friends visited The County restaurant, 13 The Green, Aycliffe Village, County Durham today, Saturday the 19th of March 2022). As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by a lovely waitress/ hostess called Claire. She showed us to our table , gave us some menus and took our drinks order. We all chose different starters and mains. Kieran, our waiter, brought our meals and we were not disappointed. Why?, because: 1) The food was well presented 2) The plates were red hot 3) The food was piping hot 4) The food was excellent, tasty and plentiful 5) The waiter/waitress Claire and Kieran) were super friendly, polite and professional, nothing was too much trouble. 6) The pub/restaurant was spotless, warm and inviting. A truly fantastic culinary experience. Well done to all at The County restaurant."

"The best places always take a little finding well worth it though. Slow cooked brisket with home cooked chips and slaw. "Went back for a quick meal before the match and the standards haven't changed at all. Great portions, great quality of food and the staff cannot be more helpful. The portion size are very generous so don't over do it on the cheese garlic bread for starters as one is more than enough for two persons. Very reasonable on the wallet as well!"
