I had a pot of tea with scones, cream and jam and sat and enjoyed them outside in the sunshine watching the world go by on Palace Green. One of the joys of retirement! We had this place recommended to us but we didnt stop as when we went it wasnt very busy. More than half the tables were available but they were all dirty or uncleared even though there were staff stood about.. didnt bode well so we left. read more.
