"We were a party of adults so pre-ordered our fish, chips and peas the previous day. As the person who suggested this meal , a lot was riding on the quality of the food : we were not disappointed. Everyone raved about the quality and size of the fish , and the batter was amazing , so light and crisp. Despite a car journey back to the accommodation , the chips still tasted fresh and hadn’t gone into a soggy lump as from some shops , and even when going cold they were still tasty . Everyone voted this meal a great success . Well done to the Middleton in Teesdale shop; you deserve your national acclaim ."

"We went for lunch but we had to ask where our drinks were as they took so long. Waitress didn’t come back and inform us and she just carried on cleaning… Play area equipment needs to be checked as the tunnel is all cracked on one edge and cut my little boy.."
