On my usual Christmas visit to County Durham and I was NOT going to let the plague stop me having one of my favourite treats. Fish and chips at Clems! All set up for “social whatsitting” and the two staff on duty were brilliant. What difficult times for them all. But the cod was cooked to order and chips perfect. What Travellersenroute doesn't like about Clem's:
Called in for takeaway chips during a shopping trip to Chester le St as I was starving served by a pleasant lady but unfortunately the chips were only warm and the potatoes were really poor quality lots of ‘bad’ potatoes.
