"Me and my boyfriend popped by this place after reading trip advisor reviews that are mostly really good, we were not disappointed, it was clean, the staff are very attentive and friendly. The only downfall was my first option was not available however what I did receive was very tasty, my partner was very satisfied and always notices good quality food which he did comment on. A lovely start to our day, service with a smile makes a difference, thank you."

"The best places always take a little finding well worth it though. Slow cooked brisket with home cooked chips and slaw. "Visited tonight as a last minuet decision for eating out and was not disappointed. With no table booked we were were warmly welcomed by Andrew who showed us to our table and took drink orders. Food order was taken by kirsty who described the specials and shows pictures, I personally had one of the specials and one of the best meals I've tasted out for a good while. "Fantastic culinary experience……… My wife and I, along with our dear friends visited The County restaurant, 13 The Green, Aycliffe Village, County Durham today, Saturday the 19th of March 2022). As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by a lovely waitress/ hostess called Claire. She showed us to our table , gave us some menus and took our drinks order. We all chose different starters and mains. Kieran, our waiter, brought our meals and we were not disappointed. Why?, because: 1) The food was well presented 2) The plates were red hot 3) The food was piping hot 4) The food was excellent, tasty and plentiful 5) The waiter/waitress Claire and Kieran) were super friendly, polite and professional, nothing was too much trouble. 6) The pub/restaurant was spotless, warm and inviting. A truly fantastic culinary experience. Well done to all at The County restaurant."

"Absolutely delicious food. Delivery was early which was great and food was piping hot, portions are really good size however definitely on the pricey side. The honey chilli chicken is amazing, chips are delicious and home made, massaman was really tasty however for the price i expected chunks of meat rather than slices and the slices were slightly dry, i think chunks would be a lot more moist. Overall very good takeaway and will definitely be ordering again for a one off treat."
