that was our first visit here. the facility was immaculately clean and the staff was pleasant and very helpful. we decided to sit and the sitting area was comfortable and spacious. coffee was cheap and good quality and the gelato was ok. if they are in this part of the city, then it is worth visiting. I have been a customer here a few times and treated myself in spite of the extortionate prices. Today I went in and wanted to use the toilet before ordering but was rudely and smuggly told that toilets were for customers only. This old nutmeg...harkens back to twenty years ago or city restaurants, not a take away ice cream shop! I told the smarmy young woman that I would have been a customer had she not been such a f... I have been to many dessert places and this has to be one of the best i have been to. Very very nice. Its good to finally have a top dessert place in durham.
