"Me and my boyfriend popped by this place after reading trip advisor reviews that are mostly really good, we were not disappointed, it was clean, the staff are very attentive and friendly. The only downfall was my first option was not available however what I did receive was very tasty, my partner was very satisfied and always notices good quality food which he did comment on. "The best places always take a little finding well worth it though. Slow cooked brisket with home cooked chips and slaw. "Visited tonight as a last minuet decision for eating out and was not disappointed. With no table booked we were were warmly welcomed by Andrew who showed us to our table and took drink orders. Food order was taken by kirsty who described the specials and shows pictures, I personally had one of the specials and one of the best meals I've tasted out for a good while. All round the service and food was WOW"

"From the moment you walk in you’re greeted with smiles from the FoH and the Kitchen. The service is always on point and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This is my third/fourth time (pre refurb visiting P&L. The mood and setting was perfect for the occasion and the food delivered on their Xmas festive menu and then some. Variety of dishes (12/13 was superb and the flavours and textures didn’t disappoint. I’ll be back again and won’t be leaving it so long next time :"

"I’d heard great things about the French Quarter and booked a table for Thursday evening. I wasn’t disappointed. The food was great, planche mixte and pil pil prawns, staff friendly and knowledgeable, great house wine and desserts really good too. We’d had such a brilliant meal that we decided to try and book again on Friday evening , luckily we got the last 2 seats at the bar. This time I had the mussels, best I’ve ever eaten, and my husband decided to have the planche mixte again! Superb food, lovely ambience and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to return"
