We booked for a last minute meal on Boxing Day as our plans had changed. They fitted us in immediately. The building is very atmospheric and we sat at a table next to a log fire so we kept warm in the awful weather. Food...was superb for main we had roast beef, lamb and pork. Nice setting and the staff were friendly, the starters were nice but the main course was very disappointing. meals had to be sent back as neither the fish or the batter was cooked properly and the chips for the rest were also undercooked but...just about edible.
