A nice '50s-themed burger restaurant that serves as a viable alternative to McDonald 's and Burger. Burger definitely tasted way better than McDonald 's, certainly was more fresh. Fries were the right balance of salt and crispiness. Would go again! View all feedback.
What Ruth Dilek doesn't like about Beef-a-roo:
Newly Relocated to Rockford, IL. I went in for a Dinner Meal approx 5 p.m. Mon. 10/31/22. Service was very slow in the Drive-thru so I went inside. Front End Cashiers were not better. I didn't order anything after noticing 5—6 people waiting to place an Order. Drive-thru Interior Service has much to be desired. View all feedback.
Waited 20 minutes for a cold burger with ketchup all over the bun and missing bacon. Ripoff.

Their roast beef and cheddar fries are OUTSTANDING! Never had anything that wasn't good at Beef-a-Roo.
Never heard of this mid-west gem but we took a gamble on it and oh wow! The best “faster” food I've had in a long time. For my east coast friends, it's like a cross between Foster's, Five Guys, and Arby's.
We are from Davenport Iowa. Had to bring a vehicle up here on a job. Needed something for dinner. Definitely glad we found this place! Great food and great service.
