"The food here is VERY CONSISTENTLY THE BEST ON THE NORTH SHORE! The food isn’t cutting edge or Uber new, that said it is really good going out to eat food! Their service while not stuffy is on point and really attentive with no glass infilled. Try this one and you will be hard pressed to eat anywhere else on New Orleans north shore"

"I’ve been coming to Habaneros for the last three years, and I had never sat at the bar before. I am so happy I did because I had one of the best experiences at Habanero’s since I’ve been coming. I ordered the spicy MezcalRita. Which was definitely spicy, but it tasted really good. The spice hit the back of my throat and would quickly fade away. It was very different than other spicy drinks I’ve had because it did not taste like straight jalapeños. For an appetizer, I ordered a new item on the menu, called the flauta flight. The plate comes with three flautas each a different type of meat, and they tasted really good. I highly recommend trying this appetizer. Whether you’re looking to get a quick bite or want to enjoy your evening here, I highly recommend sitting at the bar. The bartender was very personable and she definitely knew what she was doing"

"Wife and I dropped in for lunch because it was across the street from an antique store where we were shopping. Had no expectations but we were very impressed. Got a half Oyster PoBoy and a cup of Gumbo and it was the best fried oysters I've hadin several years! They were large and perfect! The Gumbo was full of Gulf Shrimp and very tasty! The 1/2 order of Onion Ringswas large and the recipe is incredible also, so I assume that the other menu items are as tasty. Service and atmosphere is greatas well. We will be returning to this place!"

"It takes awhole lot to win me over when it comes to food. An I was really skeptical that I'd get what I desired in a po boy on the (North shore) but chile this lil spot won me over. I had the whole shrimp po boy and it was loaded and had the right amount of mayonnaise. The cooks must be from New Orleans because that was a real po boy. I'll be back."
