"If you want great food, great service and a great atmosphere Mario's is the place for you! Living on the island for many years Mario's is the only place that is consistently great. Every time we go somewhere else to try the food we instantly regret not going to Mario's. Seriously cannot fault a thing and the staff are lovely!!"

"This was an unexpected delight original and quite Australian in feel the building is a simple shed structure which fits perfectly into the landscape. The view is gorgeous and the service was the best we 've had in years. The menu is interesting and I believe, would have something to suit everyone (including vegan). We had spanish meatballs and pulled pork tacos (both delicious)for entrees, followed by the saffron gnocchi and confit duck leg. We chose the local Pier 10 Pinot Noir which was also excellent. A very pleasant dining experience. We enjoyed having the choice of an a la carte menu instead of set 2/3 course which everyone is doing lately. thoroughly recommend."

"Friendly, attentive, fun staff with good sense of humour. They understood about coeliac disease and what a coeliac customer could and could not be served. Lots of gluten free options.
